Buddy gets drunk at the Levitar

A close friend of mine has been laid off from his work at a construction company and he gets drunk all evening at Levitar's. He even
refuses to see anyone, including me. I don't know how I can make him better.

Well, as a friend, he would require someone to talk to, but not while he is in a depressive state. Talk to him when he's not in a bar.
