You should both learn salsa, it's a great way to learn moving to the rhythm!

Just try to tune out everything else and listen to the music and start by keeping time by tapping ur foot

Yes, learning to salsa is hard but it's worth it and the commenter above is right...it does involve moving to rhythm, u learn to respond without thinking about it...like second nature!
