nightlife in SF

I'm not from California. I have been to SF before tho. I know there are a lot of tourist attractions, the museums, theaters and so forth... What kind of nightlife is there?

The Bay area has endless , clubs, bars, restaurants and attractions! You just gotta be more clear as to what you're looking for exactly.
