What factors are important to you in a bar? Theme, customer age, amount of single people, type of music, price, cleanliness of bathrooms?
I want to know what traits help you decide on the bar. Feel free to get creative.

When I go out, I want to go somewhere that doesn't have a line up to get in. I want a place to sit down.
I don't want music so loud that I can't hear the person next to me and I don't want loud university girls around me.

I do not want to hear a shitty cover band, listen to a bad DJ, have to yell to speak to a friend, breathe smoke, walk in piss, avoid brawls, or drink crummy beer. Hope that helps.

This is essentially going out for people that don't what to go out.
i.e., a mildly more interesting form of having drinks at someone's home, but with more variety and expenses.

For me, the most important thing is to go where everybody knows your name.
Where they're always glad you came. I want to go where people know that people are all the same.
