I've been a frequent visitor of many bars, some don't enforce a dress code, while there are some which require a
dress code. Between these two classes of clubs, I'd usually go for the classy ones, since it is crucial that people
come in formal or semi-formal/casual attire as a sign of lasting first impressions.

Well, I can't entirely agree with you, since there are some bars which may seem classy but their patrons are less than
desirable. The dress code-free bars may not be wholly presentable, but it's because of their relaxed atmosphere which
makes them more open.

Some patrons are dressed and well-mannered, but it depends on the occasion whether casual or formal dress is required.
However some nightclubs are quite strict when it comes to dress codes, and your attire defines YOU as a person. You wouldn't
want to be treated like some sob since you came in a sporty dress.
