Re: Chilling at the Cafe am Beethovenplatz

This is one of the most obscure bars all over in Munich...I do recall that a friend mentioned this name to me a few days
ago when he said that one of his contacts will meet me here at this place. I was reluctant to trust some stranger, despite
the fact that he was a close contact of my friend. After confirming my identity to his contact, I was treated to a beer
and some other refreshments and started talking business. Anyone with a similar experience?

It always pays to trust your friend, and as a rule you would normally extend the courtesy to his friends as well. In this
case however, you're just being careful. Like they say, trust your instincts but not others too much. :)

I wish my friend would go easy on me at that moment, but I'm a bit scared to admit I nearly told off his friend.

If you're not certain as to the person's identity, best not to trust him completely unless you are absolutely sure of his
intentions. And as for the friend of your friend, he would have no problem with that.

Heads up, just be yourself and tell the truth. No need to make this a big deal.
