If it was someones first trip to New Orleans, where would you take them?

I'm newly married and new to the area.
I love it here tho and I really want to get to know things better.
I have family coming to see our new house and I want to take them out to show them the town and a good time.
Can you please help me think of some “must see” sights or places?

Oh you are so right, I didn't think of that.
Um, ok. My granparents are in their 70's, mom is in her 50's and little sisters are 20's and late teens.

That is actually a good idea, if you take them there and just walk around, they will spot what they are interested in, you know.
It will just catch their eye.

I always drive to see the old architecture downtown and then the French Quarter.
