Partyyyying in NOLA

Hello! Traveling through New Orleans (from Detroit). New Orleans is one such party school that I've yet to visit.
I'm definitely of the impression that parties and raves pretty hard at Miami and NYC.
Does New Orleans have that sort of night life atmosphere in August?
If so, where should I be headed?
Aside from nightclubs/bars, what hotel and restaurants would you recommend?

You can still have that kind of fun you had in Detroit. Follow this to do so.

Step 1: Find a Honda Civic, preferably year 2000 or better and steal it.
Step 2: Go to Home Depot and buy some gas cans.
Step 3: Find ad rug dealer and get an 8 ball of good blow.

Lastly, go to New Orleans East and dump the car off of the Bullard exit and light it on fire!

See? New Orleans has a bit of everything.

LOL at the poster above me. I recommend you check out Flora's.
If you're in need of a caffeine high before hitting up the bars.
This place closes at midnight though.
It's close to Frenchmen St.
There are a bunch of local bars nearby to hit up too.
Their drinks are far cheaper than those on bourbon St. too.

Haha, don't worry goneaway, you'll love Bourbon St. and will hardly want to go anywhere else.
Everything is priced very well too here. You'll be sure to have a good time.
