Re: Bartender friend of mine got suspended at a lesser-known Amsterdam bar.

Well, thankfully he didn't get fired, but being suspended from your job is really sad. He served a certain cocktail which to him looked
alright, and even tasted alright when it was served on the patron. The patron drank the cocktail, but later on he was feeling intoxicated
and he went to the comfort room more than three times. He called for the manager and told the incident. My friend tried to reason with the
manager, but he sympathized with the customer and as a result my friend got suspended for a month.

It was a mix of alcohol and rum, and a twist of lime. He didn't tell me that he was allergic to some of the ingredients, so I wouldn't
know!

In that case your friend's suspension for a month is a bit too much. Did he make an appeal?

He said appealing the suspension wouldn't work, he just had to accept it, at least it's better than getting fired.
