Bitterzoet's Dutch patrons racist?

I've heard that Bitterzoet's patrons appear to hate tourists. There's this review which I read that any person
who is not a native Dutch will be ran out of this bar. Is there some truth to this? I'd like to know your thoughts.

Have been to Bitterzoet a number of times, but that was three years ago. From what you're saying, looks like that club's
underwent a major change, and it's very disappointing for a bar I once patronized. I'm a Frenchman btw.

Maybe the bar's got a new management which appears to racially profile guests based on their skin color?

I'm a naturalized Dutch citizen (a native Indonesian) who has immigrated to the Netherlands nearly 8 years ago. From what
I've read about the place, it used to be a vibrant hangout. If the management has indeed changed, then it's changed for
the worse...a real shame about Bitterzoet.

BZ's just being cautious of the people it comes to foreigners, especially those from Muslim countries.
