Nightlife in Manhattan for girls in 20's?

Hi NY locals.
My girls and I are going to be in Manhattan this weekend and are looking for the best clubs to party at.
Friday night, we want to go to a bar that has really good music, but is casual.
On Saturday night, we want to get dressed up and go out to somewhere.
We loved mixed clubs with pop music...a little hip hop music. Any help? Thanks so much.

The Meatpacking district will probably have a smaller percentage of younger recent college grads / teenie boppers due to the higher drink and cover charges (although a group of girls should be able to get into many places without paying cover).
I don't usually hang out in Meatpacking too often.

Some of the older places (Avenue, 1Oak, Tenjune) can be fun as well, but they're on the downswing and so the crowds can be hit or miss.
