Hey guys, recently moved to Philly. Is there anything special that will be going on around Mardi Gras?

I used to live on South St and Mardi Gras is fine - as long as YOU AVOID THE STUPID BAR KNOWN AS FAT TUESDAY (it's on 5th and South).
People come out of the woodwork to pay an exorbitant cover and drink slushy drinks at this hell hole. To tell the truth, it used to be fun as hell to live above this bar and watch the drama unfold on Mardi Gras. Free entertainment!
