A friend out of Lucky Love

I have a Chinese friend who is a tennis player. Sadly he made the mistake of visiting the Lucky Love bar which is very strict on a dress code, which means he's denied
entry. I told the doorman that I was accompanying my friend, and finally decided to let him in for now with a reminder not to wear trainers the next time he visits.

That was too close. At least there are some clubs which enforce the dress code, but may be broken in his case. I take that your friend knows the rules?

Yes, it's just that he never thought we'd actually come by this club. As for me, I never intended to come by, but I received a text that someone was supposed to meet
me over at the club. My friend was reluctant to go off alone, as he doesn't know Bucharest that much.
