I'm amazed at all the comments made. To be honest, my country has that habit of being stuck in their own little world, while we ordinary citizens <br />are tightly controlled by their religious police, or mutaween. On the outside, we Saudis feign compliance to avoid being caught or arrested, but <br />behind the TV screens we have been quietly yearning for freedom. And leonidaspushkin, I couldn't agree more - reforms take very long due to <br />extreme conservatism.
Assalam'allaikum, or greetings from Saudi Arabia. As a Saudi tourist visiting Turkey, I can't believe that I am experiencing the <br />lush scenery of Turkish nightlife and more. I feel a sense of freedom as I don't feel constrained by my country's ultra-strict policies. <br />I've just visited Club Reina and I say we have nothing like this at home in Riyadh. You can basically hang out at night without any <br />sense of danger from the muttawa.
