Between the old and new opera houses, i'd choose Bastille.  The seats are spaced such <br />that breathing room is just right such that you will never get cramped especially with a lot of people. While the Palais Garnier is the <br />symbol of Paris opera, the Bastille Opera is the modern place for opera today.
