What's up with the fake hair ladies?

I go out a lot and with all the clubs and bars and parties here in South Beach,
there's no shortage of places to go or people to see...
But I'm noticing a disturbing trend...
Is it just me or is it like the new thing for EVERYONE to have FAKE A@@ hair?
white girls, black girls, Hispanic girls...
I'm seeing everyone with extensions these days and it's so easy to spot... I don't get it.

I'm a hairdresser and it is VERY hot right now! It has to be done right tho...or else it looks trashy

it's just like the “home perm” everybody thought they could do it themselves and save money but they ended up frying their hair and crying in the end. BE FOREWARNED ladies, get it done right, or don't do it!
