Did anyone else just cringe when Philip won over Jessica?
Seriously, the measure of talent was obvious. She was so much better.
Really, am considering stop watching because the show is turning into a giant popularity contest.

Indeed. The show is a popularity contest now.
Really don't know what bearing the judges have on things anymore.
I stopped watching it. Have I missed much?
I know Stevie Tyler is on but that's about it.

You haven't been missing much.
Steve Tyler basically tells everyone that sings before him "oh you were great, oh you were fantastic, oh you were so passionate."
the show is basically an ego-stroker to people that most-likely have no future as a famous singer.
Think this is my last season.
