Well, there are some pubs which will close down eventually. It's a natural occurrence which could not be avoided. As a result some
bartenders will eventually leave for greener pastures by joining the much larger pubs, or find a new career in life. Yes, it's sad but
that's reality.

Eight and a half years. He's still hoping he won't get laid off though, and I hope he doesn't.
