San Diego or Chicago?

I am originally from California, my family moved here.
Still trying to find things to do and people to meet. I am 21.

Chicago is very tourist friendly.
Lots of museums are within easy walking distance of downtown and are some of the best in the world.
Check out the Shed Aquarium, the Field Museum (history), the Art Institute of Chicago.
If you'll be here September 3-5, you'll be able to catch Lollapalooza.
I would recommend going for just one of the three days to get a taste, otherwise it can be overwhelming.

I've been to both in the past year, and I definitely would pick SD over Chicago.
Mostly because of the weather. San Diego weather is phenominal.
Chicago is cold and windy if you're into that kind of thing.

People are still chill, it's just that to do anything there is kinda on the expensive side.
Drinks are light on alcohol and heavy on price.
