Re: where to start looking for property in Boston?

I am new here and new to the boston apartment living.
I feel kind of silly posting this, but really- I am a bit stumped on going about this the right way.
The internet just seems like one huge unresourcefull hassle of scams =/
My friend and I are really interested in living in Boston this year for our final year of college.
If anyone out there can direct me to the best realties out there or "best bet" ways of searching?

East boston would be a good commuting option for Salem.

I think East Somerville would be a good choice, close to 93 and the orange line.
I don't think a "student budget" can afford Charlestown and I know it can't afford the South End.

Southie. East side. Access to 93 and William J Day. Troll east broad and you'll find a dozen places.
Check with etiquette realty, Josh and Lizzie are amazing at finding those little known places.

Somewhere between "ridiculous" and "sublime".
