Avoid the Spy Bar at all costs!

Before visiting this place, I've read some reviews regarding the Spy Bar. Though I'm concerned about the mixed and negative reviews, I decided
to experience the place first and see if the club deserves enough negativity. And true enough, my expectations of this bar are indeed negative.
I was discriminated by a bouncer, who at first demanded that I show my id. After showing my id he said I can't go because of my ethnicity, as I'm
Hong Kong Chinese. It was only when a Swedish friend noticed me that I was let in. What an idiot bouncer. Don't get me wrong, Swedes are great
people, because many of my classmates are Swedish.

Sorry to hear of ur unfortunate experience. We Swedes welcome people from all over the world, and are grateful to people who learn to appreciate us.
I'm a Swedish now residing in London, and I've come to like UK.

As a fellow Asian (I'm half-Filipino and half-Japanese) I can see myself in the very same situation you're in if I were visiting the Spy Bar.
For certain, I'll be discriminated as well. I've nothing against our Swedish friends, in fact I know some of them online.

Wow, I can't believe someone would claim discrimination when you were refused mainly because you came alone. I pity the fool who came to that bar on
his own, and a non-native nonetheless! And he had the audacity to claim that the bar is discriminatory?! Great.

@traigiferie: I'm Swedish, and am very disappointed with your words. First of all, he had some Swedish friends. Second, he flashed his id for purposes
of identification, and third, he was refused entry because he was a non-native! To your eyes, you'd pretend this is just nothing, but to him THIS IS
RACIAL DISCRIMINATION. Please take your trivialities somewhere else, thank you.

I was thinking of taking my friends at the Spy Bar, but after reading this thread, i'm enlightened by the fact that I'll have to take them somewhere else.
