<p>To find nightlife anywhere, anytime, check out <a target="_blank" href="http://www.barwhiz.com/blog/barwhiz-android-app-released/">our new Android App</a> for your Android mobile.</strong></p>
<p><strong>1. <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/thailand/koh-phangan/">Koh Phangan</a>, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/thailand/">Thailand</a></strong></p>
<p><a title="full moon party koh phangan samui Thailand by www.fullmoonparty-packages.com, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/fullmoonparty-packages/5028628008/"><img src="http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4126/5028628008_d43d802efa.jpg" alt="full moon party koh phangan samui Thailand" width="472" height="376" /></a></p>
<p>People say that strange and exciting things happen on nights where there is a full moon; well this is certainly true of the monthly full moon parties in <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/thailand/koh-phangan/">Koh Phangan</a>, Thailand. Each month on the night of the first full moon, thousands of people from all over the globe descend on Koh Phangan to experience the wildest and most lively party under the sun…or, moon.</p>
<p><strong>2. Chiang Mai, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/thailand/">Thailand</a></strong></p>
<p><a title="Chiang Mai Songkran Festival by www.bart.la - Personal pictures, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/iphonelive/2415366260/"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2332/2415366260_7a1e96bb54.jpg" alt="Chiang Mai Songkran Festival" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p>If you’re looking for a new years party where you can get extremely wet and extremely wild, then look no further than Chiang Mai, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/thailand/">Thailand</a>. The New Years celebrations here consist of one huge water party throughout the country. Chiang Mai is the destination for anyone interested in being targeted by explosive water balloons, drenched at random by strangers wielding water buckets, hosed down like you were a person on fire, or simply splashed repeatedly by puddle jumpers in the streets. Whatever you choose, you can count on getting wet and having one of the best New Years experiences of your life.</p>
<p><strong>3. Vang Vieng, Laos</strong></p>
<p><a title="vang-vieng-party by SarahKaraOK, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/80372845@N00/4584305430/"><img src="http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4045/4584305430_c81623348d.jpg" alt="vang-vieng-party" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p>Do not let the size of this small little town in Laos fool you – people here know how to have a good time. Tubing and rafting are favorite party activities in Vang Vieng as many locals and tourists like to cruise down the rivers with a beer (or two or three) in hand. After enjoying a relaxing coast on the water, you can stop off at one of the many bars and local watering holes that serve up a variety of specialty drinks unique to Laos culture (Lao Whiskey is great); or, for the less adventurous types, you can simply opt for a standard rum and coke – but at least make it a double. Either way, there are plenty of friendly, sociable people looking to mingle and have a great time in Vang Vieng.</p>
<p><strong>4. Phuket, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/thailand/">Thailand</a> (Patong Beach)</strong></p>
<p><a title="Sharkys bar by dstone2, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/20924927@N07/7233503108/"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5079/7233503108_3a71ffa3bd.jpg" alt="Sharkys bar" width="333" height="500" /></a></p>
<p>Patong Beach is known for its incredible nightlife and revelry. With hundreds of <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/bar/">bars</a> and clubs to choose from, this beautiful party paradise is one of the hottest spots in South East Asia – a must see for anyone interested in turning it up a notch in Thailand.</p>
<p><strong>5. <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/japan/osaka/">Osaka</a>, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/japan/">Japan</a></strong></p>
<p><a title="20101218StrangeGirls_Active7thAniversary021 by Mixtribe Photo, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/mixtribe/5292210371/"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5202/5292210371_b316e5342b.jpg" alt="20101218StrangeGirls_Active7thAniversary021" width="333" height="500" /></a></p>
<p>Well know for its bustling business and technology culture, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/japan/osaka/">Osaka</a> has fallen under the radar as a main party destination in Asia. But don’t let the tailored suits and shiny shoes fool you, there is more to this city than business meetings and cell phones – Osaka is home to some of the best night life in all of Asia.</p>
<p><strong>6. <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/thailand/bangkok/">Bangkok</a>, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/thailand/">Thailand</a></strong></p>
<p><a title="crooked girl by Jeff Metal, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/jeff-metal/2982354602/"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3028/2982354602_ba28b9ac97.jpg" alt="crooked girl" width="500" height="400" /></a></p>

The fast paced, energetic lifestyles of the people spill over into the nightlife where tourists and locals mingle together to enjoy some of the best revelry in the world. What else is there to say about Bankok? The drinks are cheap, the food is great, and the underground music and DJ’s are rocking – it’s the perfect place to party anytime of year.</p>

Virtually every district in this soulful city has ample opportunity to order up some hot food and cold drinks well into the night. Most bars and clubs in Seoul stay open until the sun comes up so ‘last call’ is never an issue. <p>From posts about the <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/blog/tag/best-party-cities/">best party cities</a> around the world, to tips on how to party <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/blog/tag/frugality/">frugally</a>, we are here to help you not only find party, but also how to party on a budget.</p>
<p>There is nothing better than a good old-fashioned house party, both for the party atmosphere and for saving some money. You might think hosting a house party is as simple as inviting over a few friends and opening up a bag of chips, but to throw a good house party takes planning, organization and some skill.</p>
<p>In order to help you throw your very own house party, one that will be talked about for weeks, we have put together this simple guide, which will help you with everything from choosing a guest list to coming up with a few party games.</p>
<p>So without further adieu, here is the Complete Guide For Throwing A House Party On A Budget:</p>
<p><strong>#1 – Choosing A Guest List</strong></p>
<p><a title="the guest list by derektor, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/derektor/28216016/"><img src="http://farm1.staticflickr.com/22/28216016_5032129f4b.jpg" alt="the guest list" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p>Before you even begin deciding on who you want to invite, you first need to think about the amount of people your budget can accommodate. The larger the guest list obviously means the more the expense, and usually the bigger the party.</p>
<p>Besides budget, you&#8217;ll want to ensure you have adequate space for the amount of people you are planning to invite. You will need enough room for everyone to fit, while still having space for people to break off into groups, and walk around to get food and drinks. And don&#8217;t forget about an area to dance!</p>
<p>A large house party would consist of more than 25 guests. With the large group you can afford to diversify your guests, inviting people from different aspects of your life. With a large group of people your hosting duties are usually minimal when it comes to getting conversation going. As mentioned, large parties can be quite expensive, so you can cut the costs by making it a BYOB.</p>
<p>A medium sized party will comfortably fit between 10 to 15 guests. With the smaller group you can afford to offer some drinks and a few finger foods without going over budget. If you get creative with the menu your guests will appreciate the effort.</p>
<p>A smaller house party would consist of fewer than 10 guests. These house parties are usually a little more intimate and work well where everyone knows each other. If you still want to invite guests from different groups in your life, choose wisely. Having people that do not feel comfortable mingling with strangers can make for an awkward party, one where you as the host will be doing a lot of the work keeping the conversation going. Small parties are also a great way to show off your culinary skills without breaking the bank.</p>
<p><strong>#2 – Picking A Theme</strong></p>
<p><a title="3rd Annual Masquerade Party by ME by Melia, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/me-by-melia/3566694415/"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3358/3566694415_593fcb14a4.jpg" alt="3rd Annual Masquerade Party" width="500" height="336" /></a></p>
<p>Theme parties are a fun way to bring friends together and have a few drinks. The right theme can get everyone excited and allow your guests to really let go of any of their inhibitions &#8211; beer also helps too. However, picking the wrong theme can be a disaster. With the wrong theme you may find that your guests are not as enthusiast about the party as you are, and some may not participate or even show up.</p>
<p>Try running your theme idea by a few of your closest friends on your guest list to get a feel for how they are going to take it. Definitely pick something that does not require guests to go out and spend an inordinate amount of money looking for a costume, and certainly do not pick anything too obscure that those on your guest list will not be familiar with.</p>
<p>Once a theme has been decided you can use that to help you plan the other aspects of your party, from lighting and décor, to music and even the menu. The more creative you make it, the more memorable the party will be.</p>
<p><strong>#3 – Creating The Proper Lighting</strong></p>
<p><a title="Tea Lights by supra455, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/81674131@N00/5583760125/"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5096/5583760125_7ce07e3ff9.jpg" alt="Tea Lights" width="500" height="334" /></a></p>
<p>Even though the theme may dictate your lighting choice, creating ambiance in your house party is one of the most essential aspects, besides the booze of course, at making your guests feel welcome and at ease with their surroundings. Even without a theme, lighting will play an essential role in creating a party atmosphere.</p>
<p>The most inexpensive way to create some ambiance is by dimming the lights. If you don&#8217;t have a dimmer switch, you can try using tea lights, making sure of course they are located out of harms way – i.e. from being knocked over during the crazy arm-flailin&#8217;, booty bustin&#8217; dance off.</p>
<p><strong>#4 – Arranging The Music</strong></p>
<p><a title="090614_Space_We_Love_Space_Robe_008 by Roberto Castaño, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/robertocastano/3629446308/"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2432/3629446308_b127b1d9ff.jpg" alt="090614_Space_We_Love_Space_Robe_008" width="500" height="332" /></a></p>
<p>Besides lighting, one of the other most important aspects of creating a memorable house party is music. Whether the music coincides with your theme or not, you should create a playlist, or ask one of your more capable guests to play DJ.</p>
<p>A good DJ always plays to the energy of the crowd, so knowing what your guest are into before hand will help you to create a playlist that will work well for your house party. Start with something light but upbeat to create the atmosphere, and work up to songs with more energy that will get the party jumpin&#8217;.</p>
<p><strong>#5 – Planning A Menu</strong></p>
<p><a title="planning the menu by romanlily, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/romanlily/3108011935/"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3044/3108011935_558d00ce1f.jpg" alt="planning the menu" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>The size of your guest list will really determine your menu. As previously mentioned, the larger the party, the more the expense. So when it comes to planning a menu there are a few options to not blow your budget, as well as having to spend all day in the kitchen preparing.</p>
<p>With a large house party guests will not expect to be served food, but it is still a good idea to have a few munchies prepared. The classic chips n&#8217; dip and other types of fingers foods, like fresh cut veggies, pitas and hummus, always go over well.</p>
<p>For the medium sized party you may want to throw in a few additional items, such as some canapés along with a cheese and fruit platter.</p>
<p>The smaller house party is where you can let your culinary skills shine. You don’t have to treat your guests to a full course dinner, but even making something as simple as handmade burgers for the BBQ will go a long way to impress your guests.</p>
<p>An additional way to save some money is to plan a potluck for the party, or even get everyone to chip in on some pizza, because remember, pizza and beer always goes hand-in-hand.</p>
<p><strong>#6 – Coming Up With Party Games</strong></p>
<p><a title="Seize the second! swatch bestival 2007 twister by charlie.kinross, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/12384020@N05/1354037629/"><img src="http://farm2.staticflickr.com/1194/1354037629_5248e0e2e0.jpg" alt="Seize the second! swatch bestival 2007 twister" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p>If done incorrectly, a house party can be a dime a dozen. Anyone can simply invite over a few friends, turn on some music and have a few laughs while enjoying a favorite cocktail or three. But these <em>&#8216;parties&#8217;</em> are really just boring old get-togethers. With your house party you want to do something memorable. Something creative. Something fun that will have your guests talking about it for weeks.</p>
<p>Your theme can go a long way to helping you create this memorable experience, but with or without a theme, it really comes down to the party games that will get your guest involved. Party games work for all sizes, from large parties to smaller intimate ones.</p>
<p>When designing activities remember to be creative, make them fun, and know when to initiate them. If the party is already in full party mode it might be best to shelf the game until the party dies down a bit.</p>
<p>With the right mix of guests, a fun and engaging theme, lighting to set the ambiance, a playlist to get the party moving, some food, and a few party games, you can easily create a memorable house party, while still staying on budget.</p>

<p>Today we’re looking at the best party cities in the Canada. Since the drinking age for the majority of Canadian cities is 19 years of age, in the province of Quebec it is 18, we’ve decided to focus on the top 19 party cities.</p>
<p><strong>You can also click on the Country/City names to see listings and reviews of actual bars and clubs which you can go to! stop by and review some venues yourself if you have the chance, or leave us your thoughts below<br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong>#1 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/montreal/">Montreal</a>, Quebec</strong></p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="montreal city by Epicurian Life, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/36250766@N06/3379616994/"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3468/3379616994_7c503650e1.jpg" alt="montreal city" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p>The number one party destination is, with out a doubt, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/montreal/">Montreal</a>. With the legal drinking age being only 18 and the bars and <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/club/">clubs</a> serving until 3am, the party never stops in this beautiful city. On weekends there are also many after-hours clubs where the dancing lasts until dawn. Even the residents of the biggest and most beautiful cities in Canada head to Montreal to party.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Girls at Tribe Hyperclub by MW O_o, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/maciekwilkos/2338896775/"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2297/2338896775_94ba083e5a.jpg" alt="Girls at Tribe Hyperclub" width="500" height="334" /></a></p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#2 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/toronto/">Toronto</a>, Ontario</strong></p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Toronto Night by St-Even, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/st-even/3726311712/"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2460/3726311712_e70885b681.jpg" alt="Toronto Night" width="356" height="500" /></a></p>
<p>The largest city in Canada, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/toronto/">Toronto</a>, is also one of the best party cities the country has to offer. With its eclectic mix of cultures and neighbourhoods, Toronto also has a vast array of party places. From an immense and thriving live music scene to electronic clubs that go to the early hours of the morning, Toronto is one city where you wont have to search too hard, or too long, for a party.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="DSC_0392 by patricio_e, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/patricio_estebar/3637959440/"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3662/3637959440_de0df32f8c.jpg" alt="DSC_0392" width="500" height="334" /></a></p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#3 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/vancouver/">Vancouver</a>, British Columbia</strong></p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Vancouver @ Night by elvy, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/elvy/141712156/"><img src="http://farm1.staticflickr.com/51/141712156_cc288f3d31.jpg" alt="Vancouver @ Night" width="500" height="326" /></a></p>
<p>Although the Vancouver lifestyle is suited to the more casual establishments, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/bar/">bars</a> and pubs, there is still a pretty good club scene here. But even in the bars and pubs, there is always a party. Some of the best areas to party in <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/vancouver/">Vancouver</a> are Yaletown, Gastown and of course, Granville Street and Downtown.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Cut &amp; Paste Saturdays (Tonic Nightclub, Vancouver) by www.jeremylim.ca, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/jeremylim/4264085446/"><img src="http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4010/4264085446_c3f0cd1613.jpg" alt="Cut &amp; Paste Saturdays (Tonic Nightclub, Vancouver)" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#4 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/halifax/">Halifax</a>, Nova Scotia</strong></p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Halifax City Night Lights by Tremulent Photography, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/cwebs/117458635/"><img src="http://farm1.staticflickr.com/36/117458635_6d043fdfa3.jpg" alt="Halifax City Night Lights" width="500" height="400" /></a></p>
<p>In <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/halifax/">Halifax</a> the festival season never seems to end, and with their influx of live music, and plenty of bars and nightclubs to choose from, this small maritime town is one of the best party cities in Canada.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="MSTRKRFT - HPX2009 @ The Palace by Madjoy23, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/madjoy_photography/5575314685/"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5299/5575314685_0ceb14078e.jpg" alt="MSTRKRFT - HPX2009 @ The Palace" width="500" height="334" /></a></p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#5 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/ottawa/">Ottawa</a>, Ontario</strong></p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Ottawa by night by americanadian_8, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/americanadian_8/3361258384/"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3626/3361258384_c62fbbe645.jpg" alt="Ottawa by night" width="500" height="334" /></a></p>
<p>The capital city of Canada may be smaller than the other major cities on this list, but this town knows how to party just as hard. From live music to electronic <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/dance-bar/">dance clubs</a> that are open until the wee hours of the morning, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/ottawa/">Ottawa</a> has some of the best partying spots, all within a few blocks of each other. It is an easy city to get around at night and the close proximity to practically everything makes bar hopping a breeze. Best of all, when the bars close at 2am in Ottawa the party doesn&#8217;t have to end. Just a short jaunt across the river is Quebec, where the bars are open until 3am.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Rusko at Ritual by 3B Photography, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/3bphotography/5709314514/"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2117/5709314514_7fb0a0128a.jpg" alt="Rusko at Ritual" width="500" height="332" /></a></p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#6 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/quebec-city/">Québec City</a>, Quebec</strong></p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Quebec City at Night ! by Ming chai, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/ming_chai/5076705375/"><img src="http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4045/5076705375_de32ce538b.jpg" alt="Quebec City at Night !" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>The jewel of Quebec is without a doubt its capital city, Quebec City, or Quebec as the locals refer to it. Over looking the St. Lawrence River, this Old World European styled city is much more than meets the eye. It is also an incredible party town. For the best nightlife head on over to Grande-Allée Street or Boulevard Laurier.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="0048 by DJNightLife, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/djnightlife/5410012945/"><img src="http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4149/5410012945_5966411f4c.jpg" alt="0048" width="333" height="500" /></a></p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#7 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/sudbury/">Sudbury</a>, Ontario</strong></p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Friday Night ROW on Elm Street by Ideanorth, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/ideanorth/2839112751/"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3258/2839112751_696273b2be.jpg" alt="Friday Night ROW on Elm Street" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p>Known for its nickel, both the mining operations and the giant nickel that adorns the city, this small Ontario town is an oasis of hipster hangouts, trendy dive bars and all night dance clubs. So whether it is a stop-over for a longer drive to one of our other party cities, or a destination in itself, Sudbury has earned its place in the top 19 party cities in Canada.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="SRO Nightclub, Sudbury,Ont by SRO Nightclub, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/sronightclub/4132301110/"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2535/4132301110_c9af19995a.jpg" alt="SRO Nightclub, Sudbury,Ont" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#8 Charlottetown, PEI</strong></p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Charlottetown, PEI by Chris Luckhardt, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/motionblur/276541043/"><img src="http://farm1.staticflickr.com/121/276541043_2413091110.jpg" alt="Charlottetown, PEI" width="500" height="309" /></a></p>
<p>From brewpubs, like The Gahan House Brewery, Pub &amp; Mercantile, to nightclubs, dive bars and lounges, such as Baba&#8217;s Lounge; this quaint little capital city is much more than meets the eye. Think small town appeal meets big town party.</p>

<p><strong>#9 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/victoria/">Victoria</a>, British Columbia</strong></p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Victoria Harbour Night by blacktryst, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/blacktryst/3295324747/"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3414/3295324747_4f9e0b3153.jpg" alt="Victoria Harbour Night" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p>The famed capital city of British Columbia is hidden away on the province&#8217;s island gem, Vancouver Island. With friendly and welcoming locals, the party is anywhere you end up. And with over 16,000 University of <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/victoria/">Victoria</a> students, that can be practically anywhere, from the bar, to the club and even a beach party.</p>

<p><strong>#10 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/calgary/">Calgary</a>, Alberta</strong></p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Calgary City by rye man, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/24390255@N03/4402729710/"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2703/4402729710_360e85243f.jpg" alt="Calgary City" width="500" height="301" /></a></p>
<p>Known as <em>&#8216;Cowtown&#8217;</em>, this Albertan city is much more than cowboy boots and country music. One of the fastest growing cities in Canada, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/calgary/">Calgary</a> has a thriving nightlife to match. From comfy pubs to all night dance clubs, and everything in between, partying in Calgary is <em>&#8220;the most fun you can have with your boots on&#8221;</em>.</p>

<p><strong>#11 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/edmonton/">Edmonton</a>, Alberta</strong></p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Edmonton City by Kitakits, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/kitakitsstudios/4642023607/"><img src="http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4004/4642023607_9100a922b2.jpg" alt="Edmonton City" width="500" height="241" /></a></p>
<p>Know for their giant mall, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/edmonton/">Edmonton</a> is much more than Alberta&#8217;s shopping mecca. This place knows not only how to party, but how to attract the country&#8217;s most beautiful women with the annual indie arts and cultural festival, the Fringe festival, held each year in August.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Untitled by Alistair Henning, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/alistairhenning/5979068595/"><img src="http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6015/5979068595_8afb60f829.jpg" alt="Untitled" width="500" height="400" /></a></p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#12 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/winnipeg/">Winnipeg</a>, Manitoba</strong></p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Winnipeg Night 889 by skinlovr, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/55605398@N00/318356285/"><img src="http://farm1.staticflickr.com/129/318356285_0afa3cd012.jpg" alt="Winnipeg Night 889" width="500" height="281" /></a></p>
<p>Winnipeg is one Canadian city that many do not assume to be a party town, and those people have most likely never been. With it&#8217;s thriving music scene, and such events as the Winnipeg Folk Festival, this city, nestled in the heart of the prairies, is not only a great place to stop on your way West or East, but it is also a party destination in itself.</p>

<p><strong>#13 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/st-johns/">St John&#8217;s</a>, Newfoundland</strong></p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="St. John's City Lights by ZachWheeler, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/zacharywheeler/6162409859/"><img src="http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6165/6162409859_257f108cbf.jpg" alt="St. John's City Lights" width="500" height="334" /></a></p>
<p>With its steep roads adorned with multi coloured homes that end in a harbour, St. John&#8217;s has been described as a miniature San Francisco. This capital city may have the look of an American metropolis, but it definitely doesn&#8217;t have the attitude. Newfoundlanders are a welcoming bunch that love to party. So whether you are throwing back a few pints at one of the many George Street pubs, or have been invited to a kitchen party, this maritime city is one hell of a place to party.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="White Party by Denkyem84, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/denkyem/5463022555/"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5174/5463022555_7bbeb49d70.jpg" alt="White Party" width="333" height="500" /></a></p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#14 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/saskatoon/">Saskatoon</a>, Saskatchewan</strong></p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Saskatoon at night by nantel, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/nantel/3248304131/"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3480/3248304131_d7114e5b95.jpg" alt="Saskatoon at night" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>Saskatoon, known to some as the Paris of the Prairies, is a party destination in itself. With a growing live music scene and lively downtown area that is populated much of the year with students from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon knows how to throw a party.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Top Billin' Live @ Scratch - Saskatoon by ThirdMeaningPhoto, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/tristanbecker/4062784710/"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2589/4062784710_3c8f42cfeb.jpg" alt="Top Billin' Live @ Scratch - Saskatoon" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#15 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/fredricton/">Fredericton</a>, New Brunswick</strong></p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="City at Night in the Rain 2 by kman1970, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/kman1970/5147091265/"><img src="http://farm2.staticflickr.com/1235/5147091265_920efe2c4a.jpg" alt="City at Night in the Rain 2" width="500" height="324" /></a></p>
<p>This capital city may look like a quaint sleepy little village by day, with its well-maintained flowerbeds and Georgian and Victorian homes, but come nightfall, when the bars and clubs open their doors, it is another story altogether. With over 50 bars, lounges, and nightclubs, and new ones opening all the time, you won&#8217;t have any trouble finding a place to party.</p>

<p><strong>#16 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/regina/">Regina</a>, Saskatchewan</strong></p>
<p><strong></strong><a target="_blank" title="Get pushed 2! ~Day 124~ by Leah / euroswiss2003, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/28311393@N02/6164544211/"><img src="http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6160/6164544211_05ede21e6c.jpg" alt="Get pushed 2! ~Day 124~" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>It should be no surprise that the city that rhymes with fun knows how to party. Whether it is clubbing in the iconic Old Warehouse district or throwing back a few craft beers at some of the original brewpubs, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/regina/">Regina</a> is more than just a stop-over city. It&#8217;s a party town worthy of a destination.</p>

<p><strong>#17 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/hamilton/">Hamilton</a>, Ontario</strong></p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="Hamilton City at Night 2 by Dan Zen, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/danzen/93475993/"><img src="http://farm1.staticflickr.com/18/93475993_d2af9ef378.jpg" alt="Hamilton City at Night 2" width="500" height="282" /></a></p>
<p>Some may refer to Hamilton as, <em>the armpit of Canada</em> for it&#8217;s unappealing smell – if you have ever been, you know what I mean – but this hard-working steel town still knows how to party. With students from McMaster University and Mohawk College partying it up each and every night, there is a little something for everyone, from the club district to Hess Village you are bound to find your party destination.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" title="_DSC0207 by Rokbar Hamilton, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/rokbar/5169584931/"><img src="http://farm2.staticflickr.com/1381/5169584931_9c087abf50.jpg" alt="_DSC0207" width="500" height="332" /></a></p>

<p><strong>#18 <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/kingston/">Kingston</a>, Ontario</strong></p>

<p>Although Kingston may be a rest stop for those travelling between Toronto and Montreal, and vice versa, those who do not stay for the party are definitely missing out. During the school year Kingston is jammed packed with university students attending Queen&#8217;s University, who set out each weekend to party it up in the many bars, pubs and clubs sprinkled throughout the city. In the summer, one of the best music festivals in Canada, the Wolfe Island Music Festival, which sadly did not make our <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/blog/top-12-must-attend-music-festivals-of-2012/">Top 12 ‘Must Attend’ Music Festivals Of 2012</a>, is just a short ferry ride away.<br />

<p>Home to one of the natural wonder of the world, Niagara Falls is more than just a tourist destination, it&#8217;s also a party spot. Featuring everything from dive bars to <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/strip-club/">strip clubs</a> and everything in between, Niagara Falls is a miniature Vegas. After a night of partying, head on over to one of its two casinos that are open 24/7/365, and try to win back some of your drinking money.</p>

<p>We have already provided you with the <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/blog/world%E2%80%99s-top-15-beer-festivals/">World’s Top 15 Beer Festivals</a>, the <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/blog/worlds-top-wine-festivals/">World’s Top Wine Festivals</a>, and the <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/blog/top-12-must-attend-music-festivals-of-2012/">Top 12 ‘Must Attend’ Music Festivals Of 2012</a>, today we will discuss the best places to go this year for spring break.</p>
<p>So without further adieu, here are the Top 10 Spring Break Destinations Of 2012:</p>
<p><strong>#1 &#8211; Nassau, Bahamas</strong></p>
<p><a title="Spring Break 050 by keithlam, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/keithlam/38406554/"><img src="http://farm1.staticflickr.com/26/38406554_5d7e8773e0.jpg" alt="Spring Break 050" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p>Budget is the theme for the 2012 spring break. Everyone is on one and looking for a spring break destination that meets theirs. Bahamas fits that bill with super cheap spring break packages to Nassau. The cost, plus the blue water and white sands, are sure to draw a huge spring break crowd.</p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#2 &#8211; <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/whistler/">Whistler</a>, British Columbia, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/canada/">Canada</a></strong></p>
<p><a title="Group Chaos by DoNotLick, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/donotlick/4780269370/"><img src="http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4134/4780269370_d99c3dc9cc.jpg" alt="Group Chaos" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p>The current economic conditions may be in a slump, but the snow conditions this year are at record highs. If you want to trade fun in the sun for fun on the slopes, then Whistler should definitely be your spring break destination of choice. Home to the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics; Whistler has some of the best skiing conditions in North America.</p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#3 &#8211; European Destinations</strong></p>
<p><a title="3 - Pink Palace Toga by Bus2alps, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/bus2alps/5318690976/"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5248/5318690976_b945d5e9ca.jpg" alt="3 - Pink Palace Toga" width="500" height="317" /></a></p>
<p>From Amsterdam, London and Paris, to Rome, Florence, Madrid, and Berlin, exchange rates in the whole of Europe are reasonable enough for most spring breakers to justify heading across the pond for a week of partying. Although you&#8217;ll be trading one winter for another, you&#8217;ll avoid the summer tourist crowds and be able to see and do more.</p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#4 &#8211; <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/mexico/acapulco/">Acapulco</a>, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/mexico/">Mexico</a></strong></p>
<p><a title="IMG_0462-watermarked by StudentCity Spring Break, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/student_city/4624965316/"><img src="http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4067/4624965316_63ed814a24.jpg" alt="IMG_0462-watermarked" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>Acapulco is probably Mexico&#8217;s second or third best beachside party city, with Puerto Vallarta and Cancun coming in at the top two. But don&#8217;t worry, there is still plenty of party here to go around. Whether you are looking for a quiet hideaway, like Playa Pie de la Cuesta, or crowded party central, like La Condesa, Acapulco has plenty of beaches to choose from. Since Mexico is notorious for a cheap place to party, you are bound to find a lot of like minder spring breakers here.</p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#5 &#8211; <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/mexico/cancun/">Cancun</a>, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/mexico/">Mexico</a></strong></p>
<p><a title="Spring Break Cancun by bigjim26000, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/bigjim26000/4563901934/"><img src="http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4019/4563901934_ef7d5c6d7b.jpg" alt="Spring Break Cancun" width="362" height="500" /></a></p>
<p>Mexico&#8217;s Caribbean is home to the second best party spot in all of Mexico, Cancun. With beautiful beaches, and spring breakers to match, this inexpensive party spot is a great place to get your spring break on, and on a budget. The clubs are open late and the beaches are full to capacity during the day, so the spring break party never stops.</p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#6 &#8211; Puerto Vallarta, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/mexico/">Mexico</a></strong></p>
<p><a title="Crazy nurses by Wild Side Travel, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/antix/2394036853/"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2252/2394036853_c388b624bc.jpg" alt="Crazy nurses" width="375" height="500" /></a></p>
<p>This beachside, mountain city is not only the best place to party it up for spring break, but also offers the greatest all-inclusive deals. With friendly locals, gorgeous beaches and an awesome nightlife, Puerto Vallarta is the place to be this spring beak.</p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#7 &#8211; <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/florida/miami/">Miami</a>, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/florida/">Florida</a>, USA</strong></p>
<p><a title="Spring Break by Salup 49 by MSalup, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/msalup/5548501587/"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5299/5548501587_42aae1bf48.jpg" alt="Spring Break by Salup 49" width="333" height="500" /></a></p>
<p>For those looking to save money and stay closer to home this year, Florida is going to be another top destination for spring breakers to blow off some steam. Both south Beach and Miami Beach will be hopping this year. South Beach is where you will find all the best clubs, so dress to impress if you want to get in. Miami Beach is bit more laid back and easier on the wallet.</p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#8 &#8211; <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/florida/panama-city/">Panama City</a>, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/florida/">Florida</a>, USA</strong></p>
<p><a title="IMG_0947 by PicksPal!, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/7253348@N02/414755719/"><img src="http://farm1.staticflickr.com/123/414755719_37ac7db067.jpg" alt="IMG_0947" width="500" height="375" /></a></p>
<p>Panama City was the mtv&#8217;s spring break headquarters in 2009, and even though this year they&#8217;ll be filming in Vegas, Panama City Beach is billed as the best beach to party at in 2012. With over 27 miles of beachfront, Panama City is a great close-to-home place to party in the sun, while still saving some money.</p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#9 &#8211; <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/puerto-rico/">Puerto Rico</a>, USA</strong></p>
<p><a title="PR 169 by losing250, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/28628674@N00/10076431/"><img src="http://farm1.staticflickr.com/7/10076431_25f1fa87a1.jpg" alt="PR 169" width="375" height="500" /></a></p>
<p>Even though Puerto Rico is a US territory, which means American spring breakers can attend without first getting a passport, the drinking age here is only 18. Throw in the fact that it is relatively cheap to party here, and you have a perfect mix for a fun in the sun filled spring break that you don&#8217;t want to miss.</p>
<hr />
<p><strong>#10 &#8211; South Padre Island, <a href="http://www.barwhiz.com/texas/">Texas</a>, USA</strong></p>
<p><a title="IMG_2552 by MRVPhoto, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/mrvphotoflickr/5565836660/"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5189/5565836660_12896412d5.jpg" alt="IMG_2552" width="500" height="334" /></a></p>
<p>Easy to get to, and none too expensive, South Padre Island is going to be one of the most popular spring break destinations spots for 2012. With hundreds of miles of beachfront, this is a great place to party and participate in almost every conceivable water sport there is imaginable.</p>
