Ale is a type of beer brewed from malted barley using a warm fermentation with a strain of brewers’ yeast. The yeast will ferment the beer quickly, giving it a sweet, full bodied and fruity taste. Some types of Ales are Stout and Porter.

Possibly the first drinks to be called a cocktail, an Old Fashion is made with sugar, bitters, whiskey/brandy and optionally lemon.

A sweet, rum-based cocktail made with rum, coconut cream, and pineapple juice, usually served either blended or shaken with ice. It is commonly garnished with a pineapple wedge or a maraschino cherry and is the official beverage of Puerto Rico.
