41. Ale
Ale is a type of beer brewed from malted barley using a warm fermentation with a strain of brewers’ yeast. The yeast will ferment the beer quickly, giving it a sweet, full bodied and fruity taste. Some types of Ales are Stout and Porter.
42. Kräuterlikör
A kind of German liqueur that is flavored with herbs or spices and sweetened with sugar that normally contains 15% to 40% alcohol by volume. Jägermeister is a famous brand of Kräuterlikör.
43. Caprinia
A cocktail made with cachaça (sugar cane rum), sugar and lime, it is the national cocktail of Brazil. It usually tastes quite sweet.
44. Beer
The world’s most widely consumed alcoholic beverage. There are two main types of beer are Ale and Lager.
45. Gin and Tonic
A cocktail made with gin and tonic water poured over ice, usually garnished with a wedge of lime.
46. Singapore Sling
A cocktail developed in Singapore containing gin, cherry liqueur, herbal liqueur, and pineapple juice.
47. Cube Libre
A cocktail basically made of white rum and coke, optionally with an addition of lime.
48. Advocaat
A rich and creamy liqueur made from eggs, sugar and brandy. It has a smooth, custard-like flavor. Its alcohol content differs is generally between 14% and 20%.
49. Gimlet
A variation of a martini made with gin and lime cordial. It can also be made with vodka to become a Vodka Gimlet.
50. Pisco Sour
A cocktail containing pisco (type of grape brandy), lemon or limejuice, egg whites, sugar syrup, and bitters.
51. Porter
Porter is a dark-coloured style of beer, similar to stout, though usually perceived as sweeter.
52. Cognac
Cognac is a French variety of brandy, aged at least two years but usually considerably longer. Its taste is usually described as smooth and fruity.
53. Shit on the Grass
A layered shooter made with lemon liqueur and Irish Cream.
54. Liquid Cocaine
A shot made with Cinnamon schnapps (e.g Goldschläger) and Kräuterlikör (e.g Jägermeister).
55. Car Bomb
A drink made by dropping a shot of Irish Cream and Irish Whiskey into an Irish Stout.
56. Absinthe
AKA “The Green Fairy”, Absinthe is a spirit derived from herbs, green anise and sweet fennel. It has a very high level of alcohol by volume (usually 45%-74% alcohol by volume) but is normally diluted with water when consumed.
57. Pinot Noir
A reputable variety of red wine, its taste is often described as light, rich, earthy and fruity (with flavors of cherries, berries, grapes and plums). It is often paired with meat or poultry.
58. Daiquiri
The Daiquiri is a rum based cocktail whose main ingredients are rum, lime juice, and sugar or other sweetener.
59. Old Fashioned
Possibly the first drinks to be called a cocktail, an Old Fashion is made with sugar, bitters, whiskey/brandy and optionally lemon.
60. Pina Colada
A sweet, rum-based cocktail made with rum, coconut cream, and pineapple juice, usually served either blended or shaken with ice. It is commonly garnished with a pineapple wedge or a maraschino cherry and is the official beverage of Puerto Rico.
